Punta Gorda has a number of marinas that offer just about every type of boater a slip for their craft. Below I have provided some helpful information regarding the 3 main marinas, Fisherman’s Village, Laishley Park Marina and Burnt Store Marina. I am also including some slip fee prices, dry storage, etc where applicable but this is current info for Fall 2016 and may change by the time you read this.
The Marina at Fishermen’s Village, Punta Gorda, Florida
Fisherman’s Village has about one hundred boat slips for sailing and power vessels up to 60 feet LOA with a max 7-foot draft.
Slips have 30/50 amp electricity, dock boxes, potable water, cable television and Wi-Fi Internet. Yachts can be side secured and 100-amp service is available.
The controlling depth at mean low water is about 7.5 feet and dockside depths range from 7.5 feet to 3.5 feet at MLW. With that said, be sure to let the dock master know your draft requirements so a deeper draft sailboat does not find himself pulling into the slip with 5 feet when it needs 6.
You can reach the Harbormaster at (941) 575-3000. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week. Or contact by email at marina@fishville.com.

Laishley Park Marina
Here are the basics on this marina. Notice that I did not mention the mean low water depth. If interested in this marina, please call the harbormaster and discuss your craft. I am not sure of the dredging frequency and don’t want to mention specific depths but guess that 6 feet is their primary mitigating water depth on MLW. However, for a larger sailboat you have a limitation at the Rt41 bridge of 45 feet which will not work for many larger sailing craft.
